30 Seconds To Mars

The multi-platinum selling band "Thirty Seconds To Mars" just released their new album "This is war", which features recordings of fans singing their songs.

The event called "Global Summit" took place in 13 cities worldwide, in germany the Live Music Hall in Cologne was filled with 400 fans from all over germany. Tim Sky was proud to be chosen by the german EMI to record the fans. He used (besides others) the stereo tube mic Neumann SM69 (which is a stereo version of the U67) and Apogee converters.
